Intermezzo

Advanced Training Level (Grades 4-7)

Intermezzo singers have little to no experience; some of them come to us as music readers and/or with some singing skill. The goal of Intermezzo is to prepare them for multiple part singing, training to become good readers of rhythm patterns and melodies, and understanding the musical terminology as they begin their way through the NCCC music theory program.

Still a part of the training program, we do try to provide some outside performance experience for this group such as retirement homes or singing the national anthem at the Rivercats game. They also perform at the two NCCC concert productions.
