How to Join

The Northern California Children's Chorus is comprised of four choirs: Primo Voce (2-4 grade), Intermezzo (4-7 grade), Bel Canto (5-8 grade), and Bella Voce (High school Women ensemble). Singers are accepted to the different choirs based on their grade and skill level

Boys with unchanged voices and girls are invited to audition for placement. Placement is based on age and skill level and is solely at the discretionary of the Artistic Director.
Primo Voce is our training level for 2nd – 4th graders with no experience. Meets every Thursday 4:15-5:45pm in Roseville.
Intermezzo is our intermediate level for 4th – 7th graders with little to no experience. Meets every Monday 4:15 – 5:45pm in Roseville.
Bel Canto is our advanced choir for experienced 5th – 8th grade singers. This choir meets every Tuesday at 4:15 – 6:15pm in Roseville, and has monthly theory workshops in Granite Bay as well.

Singers with experience and music reading skills are encouraged to audition for this amazing ensemble, Bella Voce.
This group meets every Monday 6:30-8:30pm in Roseville.

Advancement Opportunities

As singers progress through the program they are promoted to the next level based on their theory knowledge, vocal skills, and music reading skills.
